Lobuche East Peak is popular peak to climb in Everest region, this trip can be combined with Everest Base Camp trek. The Lobuche Peak have two different summits Lobuche East (6,119m) and Lobuche West (6,145m). The first attempt to summit this peak was made by Laurence Nielson and Sherpa Ang Gyalzen on 25 April 1984. Between Lobuche East Peak and Lobuche west peak has a sharp gap and a considerable distance.The summit of Lobuche peak is exposed and often covered with moldy ice. The peak has an attractive summit with great views of Ama Dablam, Pumori, Makalu, Nuptse, Everest and much more. Climbing Lobuche East Peak will keep you both physically challenged and visually delighted.
